The 2026 WKC Canadian National Championships have officially concluded, and we extend our congratulations to every athlete who stepped onto the mats this weekend in Ottawa.
From the opening divisions to the final matches, the level of talent, discipline, and determination displayed throughout the championships reflected the very best of Canadian martial arts competition. Competitors from across the country came together with one goal in mind: to test themselves against the nation’s top athletes and earn the opportunity to represent Canada on the world stage.
To all National Champions and Team Canada qualifiers, congratulations on your accomplishment. Your hard work, sacrifice, and commitment to your training have earned you this moment. We now look forward to seeing Team Canada compete at the WKC World Championships in Spain this October.
