National Team Tryouts

This is your opportunity to represent Canada and compete against the best sport martial arts competitors in the world.

In order to compete at the WKC World Karate Championships, competitors must qualify at a regional event. You are then eligible to compete at the Canadian Championships. If you place in the top four at the Canadians you will represent Canada at the World Championships in the fall.

These events are open to all competitors regardless of style, school or affiliation.

Continuous Point Sparring: 9:00am – 12:00pm
Kata and Weapons Round 1: 12:30pm – 7:30pm

Saturday, August 28th

Registration: 9:00am – 12:00pm
Kata and Weapons Round 2: 9:00am – 3:00pm
Point Sparring Round 1: 3:00pm – 7:00pm

Sunday, August 29th

Point Sparring Round 2: 9:00am – 2:00pm

Cost: $60 per event for the first 3.  $30 for every event after the first 3.
